Presents a survey of physics. Topics include mechanics, energy, thermodynamics, waves, sound, electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics.

PHYS 121 - Fundamentals of Physics I (4)

Presents the first of a two-course introductory sequence to physics using algebra and trigonometry. Topics include Newtonian mechanics, rotational motion, fluids, oscillations, and waves. Meets the requirement for a general education science lab course.
This course is only offered in the Fall.
