Program Description

Phlebotomy technicians work in physician's offices, clinical labs, and blood donation sites. Become familiar with all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipuctures successfully and safely. This program offers clinical practice with experienced phlebotomists at local healthcare facilities to give you hands-on experience and prepares students to take several national certification exams.

For this workforce training certificate program, students can request approval to transfer up to 25% of total certificate contact hours of prior learning of a Foundations related course from an accredited institution. Contact Program Manager for more details.
